Fire protective coating
Fire protective coating is a good protection of load-bearing structures. The fire paint forms a fire-retardant surface that protects key steel constructions
When the paint is exposed to heat, it foams up and forms a thick protective layer around the painted steel structure.
Typical fire-painted items are:
- Load-bearing structures
- Access roads
- Emergency exits
- Control room etc.
Fire painting of steel structures
Fire protection paint is used for fire protection of load-bearing steel structures, where
BS-30, BS-60 and BS-90 are required. The systems can be used both indoors and outdoors. The painting work is carried out "on location" by our experienced employees. Some products are specially designed for outdoor use. This means that they retain their fire-protective properties after weather influences over a number of years.
Fire paint of steel can be combined with corrosion protection up to C4. This results in both high and long-lasting corrosion protection and fire protection.
